Putnam Transportation Committee

Met yesterday with the Putnam County Transportation Committee to give them an update on the plan.

Just so everyone knows, we are developing the final list of recommended projects for the plan.  Before that is released, we are doing a handful of additional things.  We are testing a couple more projects against the traffic model to see if they would have a positive effect on traffic in the region.  We are also going to assign estimated costs to each candidate project to see if anything is unreasonable to include cost-wise.  Thanks!

Public Meeting Materials

Yesterday evening from 4-7 the second public meeting was held for the Teays Valley Subarea Transportation Study.  We had a respectable turnout but wanted to make some of the materials available for review here as well.  If you have any comments or questions about what you see, please feel free to comment and we will reply as soon as possible to try and answer your questions.

There were a number of news outlets at the meeting and we will make every effort to post a link to the story once we can find them.  Thanks!

Updated info on Congressional Transportation Reauthorization

The House introduced a bill yesterday that would greatly affect a number of programs and funding streams in West Virginia.  And by affect, I mean negatively:
